Swatch .beat Alu Wave

Bought in Italy, exchanged original black plastic strap with aluminum encased silicone shown here.

Dyson DC03 vacuum

Not sold in USA due to patent issues. I bought one in Paris at BHV.  This was not the cheapest place, but they did put a nice handle on the box so you can carry it right on the subway.  In the basement of BHV you can also buy a few Euro style outlets to take home. In the US, if you are up for it, you can simply run this appliance off of your 2 phase power. I split a few outlets off from the electric oven. Most places you can take it from the dryer. Though the 2-phase US power is not quite the same as the European 1-phase 220V power, I have had no problems with the unit. Works better than just about anything you can buy in the US. Small drawback: Dust canister does not always seat well against rubber seals. Luckily an occasional little nudge against the canister reseats it easily.

Leklint 172B

Lightweight plastic lamp. Very nice when illuminated. Beware that this thing is almost impossible to make without defects.  It will likely have a few places where the plastic buckles.  Some small paperclips inside the lamp can remedy this pretty reasonably.

Brill luxus 38

Bought from cleanairgardening.com. Costs a little more, but far superior to US made pushmowers. Blades don't actually touch the stationary cutting edge.  The effect is very quiet, nearly effortless mowing. Due this lack of metal to metal contace, the blades are supposed to stay sharp for a very long time.  No problem yet.
